It didn’t take long for London’s most exciting new band, TV Priest, to be noticed around the country. They announced their debut album Uppers recently, and managed to sell out vinyl pre-orders, while leaving their first two singles off of the album and having only played one live show. Their new single, ‘Slideshow’, firmly claims a place on Uppers. The thing that has seen the band take off quickly is their down-to-earth attitude and DIY style; it lets a sense of fun thread through each of their songs, using each satirical beat to their advantage. This track looks at the modern-day obsession with phone-scrolling, with the accompanying video showing nothing but exactly that. -Dan Peeke
